Everyone working as an electrician requires the 18th Edition qualification. All installations designed from January 2019 onwards must comply with the new regulations. However, not all electricians need to complete the assessment at the same time:

• If you are working on public-sector contracts, you will need to take and pass the assessment from January 2019.
• If you are a member of a scheme such as the NICEIC, ELECSA, STROMA, NAPIT or others, you will need to take and pass the assessment before you next renew your membership.
• If you are registered with the JIB ECS check system, you will need to take and pass the assessment by a date that JIB ECS will confirm to you.

Course Objectives

To provide essential updates on the requirements of the IET Wiring Regulations BS7671-2026 AMD4 – 18th Edition

1 Day Training Course – Dates to be confirmed 08:30 to 16:30

Our content will follow the C&G 2382-26 AMD4 syllabus and include:-

• Updates to current BS7671 Wiring Regulations. If any further changes are made to the new edition we will of course include these in the training.

This qualifiation is aimed at practising electricians with relevant experience and knowledge of electrical installations.
You will need to of completed the C & G 2382-18 or the C & G 2382-22 qualification to attend this update.
Candidates must be over 16 years of age.
