This course is designed to introduce new entrants without OFTEC qualifications to Oil and ensure that you have enough practical knowledge to enable you to undertake OFTEC 101, 105 & 600 assessments. It is designed to give additional and more detailed practical training than the standard courses offered, which are aimed at previously qualified operatives.
Once OFTEC 50 is completed or as a returning operative the following elements can be done separately or in combination; ie 101/105, or 101/105/600 or 105/600.

OFTEC 101-105E-600A. This course combines all necessary elements for installers. covering domestic/light commercial oil firing, commissioning and servicing-pressure jet appliances; and system installation and oil tank installation. We also run training and assessment for each element individually.

Pre-Requisites
Candidates must have completed the OFTEC 50 course as a pre-requisite. This must be done separately, prior to undertaking the OFTEC 101-105E-600A.

This course is for installers who want to become OFTEC registered to be able to service and commission pressure jet appliances.
OFTEC 105E – Installation and Energy Efficiency
This course is for the installer who wants to become OFTEC registered as an installation technician.
OFTEC 600A – Oil Storage and Supply
This course covers the installation and maintenance of oil storage tanks in the Domestic/Light Commercial sector.
