The course comprises one evening or 1 day class per week, for theoretical study & practical work to develop the skills required to complete the practical assessment elements of the course. The qualification is assessed at Level 2 & Level 3 with 8 multiple choice on-line examinations, practical assessments, and a written project.
The City & Guilds 2365 qualification is a current technical certificate which is part of an electrician’s qualification framework and provides the underpinning knowledge required for NVQ 3 craft level status.
(This qualification alone does not make you a Qualified Electrician it is only part of the pathway you require.)
Evening Courses: 2 to 2.5 Years (24 to 30 months) 6pm to 9pm, 1 Evening per week
Day Courses: 1 to 1.5 Years (12 to 18 months) 8.30am to 4.30pm, 1 Day per week (Fridays)
This course is suitable for both delegates who are currently working in an electrical environment and individuals who have an interest in electrical principles and wiring systems, who are seeking to train as an electrician.
Both Maths & Science are used on the course so you should be educated to at least GCSE Grade C/5 and above in these subjects.
Written exams, multiple choice on-line exams and practical assessment depending on individual unit requirements.
